Guided Summer fishing trips

From June 29th to September 1st guided fishing trips on Lake Huron and Inland Lakes will be offered. This is a great time to go fishing for giant, aggressive, possible record setting Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass. Below is an explanation detailing the different Lakes that are offered through Fish the Bruce to give you a better idea of what each lake option has to offer.

Lake Huron - During the summer on Lake Huron you will find Smallmouth Bass in both shallow water approximately 1-5 feet in depth, as well as out in the deep water which is over 30 feet. The location and depth in which we will find Lake Huron Smallmouth is dependent on the time of year, the weather and the moon phases. With the stunning clear water, you can often watch these giant fish chase and eat your bait. There have been numerous Smallmouth caught weighing over 6 pounds over the past year and hundreds over 5 pounds. The fact is there is no better place to catch these beautiful Smallmouth than out in Lake Huron! These fish are known to be one of the hardest fighting fish pound for pound and they tend to jump numerous times when reeling them in. While fishing for Smallmouth Bass on Lake Huron, it's always a thrilling day filled with catching fish!

Bruce Peninsula Inland Lakes - Our lakes offer many different styles of fishing for Bass. The lakes offer deep, medium depth, and ultra shallow fishing areas. During the summer the most plentiful and aggressive fish to target are Largemouth Bass and Smallmouth Bass. The vast majority of the Bass are close to shore ambushing Baitfish, Perch, Frogs and Crayfish against various structures such as wood, rock and vegetation. All of our local Inland Lakes are fair sized, yet small enough to move from spot to spot easily until we find fish that are ready to bite. The Bass in these lake can get very large due to the extremely healthy ecosystem they live in. Surrounding these lakes are beautiful wetlands and acres of forest.
